Standardization at the start of the new school year.
Firstly, I want to give thanks to the Director of this magazine cultural digital, for the opportunity that she has offered me to participate with my articles in the field of social-cultural interest and the people of La Herradura. In this article I am I’m going to treat a topic that, in my opinion, is of general interest, as it is about the start of a new school year. I would like to start with a word of encouragement to all those involved: students, teachers, organizers of various workshops, AMPA, and other organisations that collaborate in the field of education and cultural formation of the people in our village. In this sense, I would like to ask the parents to reflect on the fact that although the holiday period has come to an end, there will be a need for a period of adaptation to normalize a rhythm very different from devotion to the daily chores. What I intend to say is that habits and behaviours need to be modified, but this has to be done in harmony, a stress free predisposition and with a positive attitude so that things will run smoothly. I can assure you that the apparent forgetfulness of everything that was learned over the past year is only temporarily. The students will return to a steady mode of learning, of course with a review of that which was learned with patience and in a gradual way, with a prior and obvious review and patience they will gradually be back on track.
We must not underestimate the importance of motivation to continue learning, bearing in mind that the level of the course goes up but they will also have more skills and will be more mature to learn new capabilities. My conclusion is that we have to boost that with there is that boost it with affection, combining effort and work in the academic activities but also include relax moments and fun to make sure the learning environment is pleasant and make sure it does not create anxiety or become a burden. Feeling pressured by the duties can have a negative effect on both children and parents; this is an issue that we will discuss in another article because of the complexity of it.
