Tuna fish pasta

IMG_20170303_141656This is a very quick recipe and very delicious. The time the pasta needs to boil is all you need to prepare the sauce.

Ingredients:

spaghetti or tagliatelle (or pasta of your choice)
1 small onion
1 tin of plumb tomatoes (not tomato triturado)
2 cloves of garlic
2 tins of tuna fish in olive oil
fresh basil leaves
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil

Preparation:

IMG_20170303_140627boil the water with salt and add the pasta
cut the onion and the garlic into small chunks
fry the onion and garlic in some olive oil
when the onion is starting to glaze add the plumb tomatoes and cut them a little so they become smaller chunks
Add about 6 to 10 fresh (depending on the size and whether you like the taste of basil) basil leaves chopped.
Add the tunafish

Leave to simmer so that the water from the tomatoes dries up, total cooking time approximately 8 – 10 minutes.

IMG_20170303_140916Mix the drained pasta al dente into the sauce and serve. Eat hot.
