Pasta with salmon



Pasta of your choice

a package of smoked salmon

1 small onion

1 garlic clove


crème fraîche or cooking cream

freshly grated padano cheeseIMG_20170226_144154

tomato sauce (tomato frito can be used)

salt and pepper to taste

olive oil

IMG_20170226_144412Boil water with salt for the paste. The sauce is ready really quickly about 5 minutes! So you can start the sauce when you put the pasta in the boiling water. However, depending on the cooking time of the pasta, make sure the pasta is al dente, not overkooked!

  • Cut the salmon into small pieces

  • cut a one or two tablespoons of capers in half

  • chop the onion

  • put some olive oil in a frying pan and glaze the onion and the garlic

  • add the salmon and the capers

  • stir in some tomato sauce

  • add two or three tablespoons of crème fraîche or cooking cream

  • add some salt and pepper to taste (not too much as the padano cheese and salmon are already salty)

  • add some freshly grated padano cheese.

  • mix the pasta al dente with the sauce in the frying pan
